Lindsey & Brandon – February 18, 2024 – The Howey Mansion

This couple knew they wanted a Vintage Howey Mansion Wedding, but wasn’t sure how to design or carry out their ideas. We helped them create and execute their vision from the start! 

The weather for the entire weekend was not the best, unfortunately. It was like a rainy and cold day in the midwest, which was actually fitting since the bride was from there. This couple did not let the weather effect them at all, which was amazing. They actually embraced it and got creative with photo locations and used a clear umbrella as a prop. We did a first look and all wedding party photos prior to the ceremony, which allowed everyone to relax and eased their nerves a bit. 

With their ceremony in the ballroom, it was such an intimate and cozy space, which was the vibe they were going for anyways! They had floral surrounding them and chose to have their wedding party be seated throughout the ceremony so everyone could focus on the couple. After a short and sweet ceremony, guests made their way outside to the covered porch for cocktail hour, while the space was flipped into the dancing portion of the reception. 

The dinner reception was under the tent outside, and was simply lovely. Tables were dressed in soft ivory linens and were accented with neutral details in the flowers, linens and paper goods. We loved the look in the tent once the sun set and there was a romantic glow in it. 

After some heartfelt speeches and a delicious plated meal, the couple and their friends literally danced the night away. The couple snuck outside before their exit to get some photos with their getaway car before their exit actually happened. It was the perfect touch on this Vintage Howey Mansion Wedding. Once they rejoined the party, we watched this fun loving group truly enjoy themselves, and nothing else mattered!
