Wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center

Gin & Jasper – October 19, 2019 – Annunciation Catholic Church & Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts

We worked with this couple for a long time to make sure their wedding day was perfect! They had been guests at one of our past weddings, and we were so excited for their wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center! All of the pieces came together beautifully and we think you’ll love the end result as much as we did 😉

The weather was not cooperative all morning long on this wedding day. It was the rainiest day we’ve seen in October! Thankfully, it didn’t affect any of our set up, and it cleared up by the time the couple did their first look and bridal party photos around Downtown Orlando. Their first look at the Grand Bohemian was private and sincere and you can see the joy on their faces. After that, they wandered the streets around the hotel with their best friends for some fun photos!

The ceremony took place at Annunciation Church. With their family & friends as witnesses, these two celebrated their marriage in the best way. Our favorite part was the bubble exit after they were married! After a short gap in between the two events, guests made their way to cocktail hour for this wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center.

As guests were enjoying themselves outside the ballroom doors, we were putting the finishing touches on the gorgeous reception inside. The classic color palette of greenery, ivory, and gold was stunning in this bright ballroom! Tables were dressed in simple ivory linen, with gold chiavari chairs and chargers. Floral was kept simple on the tables with candles and small arrangements. The ‘wow’ factor of the room was above the white dance floor: a diamond-shaped floral chandelier made of hanging wisteria and twinkling lights. It was our favorite detail of the room and was enjoyed all night while the dance floor was packed.

Some tear-jerking moments, great toasts and a delicious cake rounded out this reception. The couple AND all of their guests were on the dance floor the entire night! There wasn’t one moment we didn’t love about this wedding at the Dr. Phillips Center. Gin & Jasper, a huge thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! XO
