With so many wedding dress style options and designers, how do you know which is the ONE for you?! We’re talking about some favorites from our brides so far this year, hoping it can help you narrow down your style! Which one would you say YES to?
Clean & Classic
This timeless look is a new trend we’re seeing. Brides love the glitz & glam, but they equally love channeling their Meghan Markle with a simple wedding dress style. This Ines di Santo gown is made of a durable matte satin and has a deep-v neckline for some drama. It’s perfect for an upscale ballroom wedding or even a downhome backyard affair at any time of the year!
Boho Vibe
This fun wedding dress style is for the bride who wants to look like a bride, without all the fluff of a traditional gown. This Calla Blanche dress is sleek & slimming and has minor embroidery-looking lace details. Jane wore flat sandals to compliment her laid back look.
Illusion Back
This dress is what we call business in the front and party in the back. Kalie’s Pronovias dress was simple in the front, similar to our clean & classic look above, but had a gorgeous beaded illusion back. It was perfect for her traditional style, but with a little extra flair. Illusion backs can have lace, sequins, beads or nothing at all to truly create a stunning look!
Sleeves
We are seeing more brides incorporate sleeves of some sort into their wedding dress style. Sometimes the dress comes with them, or they have their seamstress add them on. We love Danielle’s Eve of Milady gown with gorgeous beaded cap sleeves and thin shoulder straps. These, along with the full tulle skirt, complimented the ‘princess’ look she was going for!
Custom
Can’t find what you’re looking for or want to enhance an already gorgeous dress? Jeiran worked with designer Galia Lahav to make custom adjustments to this stunning gown (which Beyonce wore for her wedding!). The cutouts were in the front and the back and the sleeves and train were completely detachable. This made for a completely different dress for the reception!
Whatever your wedding dress style is, wear it with confidence. You are supposed to look like your best self on your wedding day, so make sure you feel that way in your wedding dress!
