Sara & Shan – September 3, 2023 – Luxmore Grande Estate

Let’s preface this by saying that we planned the bride’s brother’s wedding SEVEN years ago. So, you can imagine it was an honor to hear from Sara when it came time for her to tie the knot! We knew it would be similar in fashion to her brother’s wedding weekend celebration, so we helped plan from the start. Sara & Shan were in a long distance relationship, and we were there to assist with finding venues, budgeting and everything in between for two full wedding events.

Friday’s event was at a separate venue, where they had a sit down dinner & dancing with a live drummer to celebrate the upcoming nuptials. We loved the neutral décor that went into it and that guests came from far & wide to celebrate this amazing couple!

Sunday was the actual wedding day for this wedding weekend celebration. The girls were at the venue early to start the getting ready process, while the guys arrive later ready for photos. When we arrived, everyone was calm and excited for what was to come. The couple chose to include a First Look, followed by wedding party and family photos. Were able to get all of that done prior to them tying the knot! The weather was on our side and allowed this garden ceremony to happen outdoors. The floral arch was a work of art, really! It was really important to incorporate cohesive floral at the different events of this wedding weekend celebration. Friday’s event had more bright florals, while Sunday’s wedding included those bright florals but in a toned down way with whites, creams and greens.

The inside reception space was so elegant! The ceiling draping, soft ivory table linens and muted floral centerpieces dressed  up this neutral space. The emerald green on the bridesmaids really tied the look together with all of the greenery that was used in the design. We love when couples decide to decorate the staircase at Luxmore in floral. It makes a big impact when your guests first walk in!

The reception of this wedding weekend celebration included a delicious plated meal, heartfelt moments throughout and overall just celebrating the love of two amazing people and families. Sara & Shan, we were truly honored to be able to celebrate with your family again for your special day. Thank you for trusting us with the design, vendors and logistics to make it all happen!
