Judy & Austin – February 3, 2024 – St. James & Cypress Grove Estate House

This couple currently lives in the midwest, but the bride was born and raised in Orlando. She attended school at St. James and played sports in Cypress Grove park. She knew she’d be getting married in these locations ever since she was little! This Winter Cypress Grove Estate House wedding was simply beautiful and FUN! They had 140 of their closest family & friends witness their love and we were honored to help them pull together all of the details to execute a perfect day. 

Their ceremony was at the gorgeous St. James Catholic Church, in the heart of Downtown Orlando. The couple and their parties arrived separately, with the bride literally looking like an old Hollywood vision and her girls wearing a pretty shade of blue. They kept their nerves calm leading up to the ceremony and snapped a few photos outside of the church after it was done. 

The scene at the reception of this Winter Cypress Grove Wedding made Central Florida look like a showoff by being on a beautiful lake! The sun was setting on the lake during the beginning of this reception, and a slight chill set in the air. Guest tables were dressed in soft ivory linens and napkins, with the beautiful French Country chairs and floral centerpieces in whites and creams and touches of greenery. Their sweetheart table brought in more of the blue accent color with the velvet chairs, and a garland draped the wooden table. 

After a delicious buffet dinner and some heartfelt toasts, the party started. In lieu of a cake, the couple chose to have a local favorite, Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, show up with their truck to serve guests after dinner. This is one of our personal favorites and we loved the personal touch it added-it was also a bonus for out of town guests to try something they can only get in the area! And of course, they had to have a photoshoot with the iconic pink truck 😉
