Amy & Aaron – January 21, 2023 – Dr. Phillips Center

We worked with this couple for their Winter Dr. Phillips Center Wedding to help bring design & logistics together. They knew they wanted to incorporate blush, baby’s breath and some navy into the design, but weren’t sure how to make it all come together seamlessly. We were happy to help carry out their vision and build a great team! 

The couple and their wedding party members got ready at the convenient Grand Bohemian, right across the street from the venue! It was a very winter-y day outside, and honestly, looked like it could rain at any minute. The only showers we had to dodge was spotty rain while they were taking photos, but it passed quickly, thank goodness! They chose to do a first look on the front lawn of the venue, followed by wedding party photos before heading upstairs. 

Their ceremony time was later in the evening, which allowed for a romantic almost-dusk look on the gorgeous rooftop. It was perfect for this Winter Dr. Phillips Center Wedding! The neutral white space was set with simple baby’s breath arrangements and white folding chairs. Our favorite detail of the ceremony (besides the view) was the spark boxes that went off when they shared their first kiss. Talk about romantic!

After their heartfelt ceremony that included the couple reading their own vows, guests enjoyed cocktail hour inside while we were putting the finishing details on the reception space downstairs. Guest tables were dressed in white linens, accenting the venue’s black & white leather chairs perfectly. Centerpieces were made of romantic arrangements of baby’s breath, a few roses and candles. The centerpiece of the room was the sweetheart table in front of the large windows showcasing the gorgeous city views, and of course, the cake! The bride’s cousin had her own successful cake business here in Orlando, and volunteered to create a stunning dummy cake for this Winter Dr. Phillips Center Wedding, including custom sugar flowers.
