Nancy & John – March 8, 2014 – University Club of Winter Park
Life is full of second chances. In this case, second chances brought this lovely couple together later on in life. Being a fellow UCF Knight and Nancy a UCF faculty member, Nancy & I had an instant connection. We chatted over coffee while I was learning all about how her & John met and their plans for their Winter Park wedding!
On this beautiful Spring day, Nancy & John tied the knot at the Tuskawilla Presbyterian Church, and had their reception at The University Club of Winter Park. It was a small intimate Winter Park wedding, with close relatives and dear friends of the couple. Being a second marriage for one of them, they knew they wanted to keep it simple & joyous, not stuffy and crowded. Guests traveled from all around the country, and they had the focus mostly on enjoying everyone’s company. It was simply beautiful to be a part of.
The light hues of green were accented by ivory and touches of black, fitting the neutral tones of the University Club perfectly! This crowd was not shy to be on the dance floor, and everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time. Guests enjoyed the delicious food, the green ombre wedding cake and the candy buffet. I loved watching the bride & groom just taking it all in, which is exactly what they should be doing on their wedding day!
Nancy & John, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! I wish you all the best in your married life together. GO KNIGHTS!!
